Relax. We Got This.
It’s finally happened. You took the leap and hired TaskEasy to take over your lawn care needs. Now that you have so much time on your hands, it’s time to start taking time for yourself. So what can you do? Try one of our favorite things to unwind and take your mind off of everything.
Relax in a hammock.
The weather is cooling down, which makes it the perfect time to pull out your hammock and tie it up in your backyard. Lay back and relax, while enjoying the freshly cut lawn that you didn’t have to take care of yourself. Grab a book or take a nap, and just enjoy the outdoors before the cold weather hits us.
Relax with yoga.
Almost all across the country there are people gathering in parks, capitals, or even library lawns, practicing yoga outside with strangers and friends. You don’t have to be an expert to go stretch out on the soft lawn with a bunch of other people, you just have to be relaxed and in the moment.
Relax while streaming.
Now that you have a little free time, relax and stream some of your favorite movies on Netflix. Empty out your queue that has been building up over the months, make some popcorn, and just enjoy mindless entertainment for a few hours.
Relax with a book.
When was the last time you sat down and read? Was it something you actually wanting to read? Well now is the time. Find a book you’ve been eager to get to and sprawl out on your couch or a chair and dive into your fantasy world. If you don’t feel like reading, join audible and listen to a good book. With so many genres, you’ll never get bored.
Relax on a hike.
The world is a beautiful place, and let’s be honest, we don’t take advantage of it like we should. Find a hike near you (or far from you if you prefer) and take a day to see the scenery and think about life. Rigorous exercise can definitely recharge you, but there’s nothing like taking your time on a nature walk to relax yourself after a long week.
Relax and cuddle your pet.
Whether you own your own pet or you have to borrow someone else’s, cuddling a pet can be very relaxing. You may think this is a silly suggestion, but studies show that petting an animal can increase levels of the stress-reducing hormone oxytocin and decrease production of the stress hormone cortisol.
Relax in a museum.
Just because art is timeless doesn’t mean you should take your time to go see it. Spend some time at a museum and see the wonderful pieces that people just like you created from their minds. Relax as you look at picture after picture, putting yourself into these artist’s shoes.
Of course there are hundreds of other things to do to with your time, these are just a few suggestions. Find what you love to do and take time to do it today. Relax. We got this.
