FiberFix aims to provide affordable solutions to otherwise expensive repairs and replacements. The material sold as “tape” combines industrial-strength fibers and specialized resin into a repair wrap or patch that hardens like steel—providing a permanent fix. “I was going on vacation and about an hour before I needed to leave, I discovered a sprinkler line that had a leak. I tried to fix it with gorilla glue and duct tape, but it didn’t work so I turned off the sprinkler system and everything was dead when I got back. We first came across the idea for fiberfix from a medical doctor we know. He was using medical tape—the kind they use for casts—to fix an ATV. It didn’t work but the idea evolved from such experiment. Eric explains.

Finally, the idea took off after Reed’s neighbor notified SharkTank producers of this group’s accomplishments and enthusiasm giving the team an opportunity to film with SharkTank and retain funding for further growth.
