What kinds of task services do you offer?

TaskEasy offers tasks like lawn mowing, aeration, and other home and property maintenance services. Contractors who perform services for you can even suggest custom tasks. We're adding new tasks in short order. If you don't see a task you need just email help@taskeasy.com and we'll help you out. top

Does it cost money to join TaskEasy?

No. TaskEasy is free to use, there are no membership fees to set up an account. We don't charge contractors to join TaskEasy, but they have to pass strict qualification standards to be considered TaskEasy Certified Contractors. top

Is TaskEasy a national company?

TaskEasy is a national company but we work directly with local contractors in your area. We're a big fan of supporting small, local economies and helping contractors find great clients, like you, is a primary goal. Here are just some of the great reviews we've received from customers all across the nation. top

How much do tasks cost?

Tasks vary in price depending on the type of task you want, the size of the service provided and your local area. All TaskEasy Certified Contractors will charge the same amount for the same task so there's no bidding and no haggling required. You'll be charged the same amount to mow your lawn, regardless of which TaskEasy contractor performs the work. top

I want weekly lawn mowing. How often will I be charged?

We'll charge your account each time you approve payment to your contractor, so weekly lawn mowing will be billed every week. You'll have two days after the contractor completes their work to approve the quality and payment. A few days before your first service you will be charged a deposit equal to one lawn mowing task to secure your contractor. This will be kept on file until you choose to cancel services, at which point you can choose to have it be applied toward your last mow or request a refund. It’s your choice. top

How do I pay for tasks?

When you order a task online, TaskEasy will charge your credit card and hold the funds in escrow. When the task is complete and you're satisfied with the results the funds are released to the contractor. top

Is my credit card information safe?

Your credit card information is completely safe. We use an industry-certified 256-bit encryption to protect your data against theft and fraud. top

When do you charge me and pay the contractor?

We charge you a deposit a few days before your first task is scheduled to secure your contractor. This will be kept on file until you choose to cancel services, at which point you can choose to have it be applied toward your last mow or request a refund. After the job is done you’ll receive an email with photos and a request to release payment to your contractor. Your account will be charged when you approve payment. You’ll have two days to approve the work and then we’ll automatically send payment to your contractor. top

Can I negotiate prices with contractors?

TaskEasy offers set prices for home maintenance tasks. There's no need to bid with multiple contractors and no negotiation required. Every TaskEasy Certified Contractor has agreed to do your task for pre-set fair-market prices. top

Do I have to get different bids?

No. TaskEasy doesn't require you to get different bids from different service contractors. Simply get a customized quote and order the service online and our contractors will take care of the rest. top

Do you guarantee your services?

Absolutely! If you aren't satisfied with the quality of work our contractors perform, we'll give the contractor the chance to make it right. If you still aren't satisfied, we'll ask a different contractor to do the job and if that hasn't made you happy, we'll refund your money. top

Will my address be made public?

We keep every service address confidential and never sell any of your personal information to anyone. top

If I'm not home, how will I know my service is done correctly?

TaskEasy Certified Contractors will let you know when the task is done and send you an email with a photo of the work they completed. Contractors won't be paid for their work until you accept the work and are satisfied with the result. top

Can I order a recurring service?

Most home maintenance tasks can be ordered on a recurring schedule. We offer recurring service options for tasks like lawn mowing, aeration, and even fertilization. top

If I order a recurring service, can I skip a week?

You can skip a week of recurring service if you'd like. After ordering your service either send an email to help@taskeasy.com or call 1-800-518-4461 and we can alter your service schedule. top

Can I cancel my service?

You can cancel your service before the service provider arrives to perform your task by calling 1-800-518-4461. top

Can I order service for a rental property?

You can order service for a rental property. You don't need to live at the address where our contractors perform services. When a rental property is across town or in a different state it's hard to find reputable contractors to perform tasks like mowing the lawn. TaskEasy is making this easy to manage, even long distance. top

Can I order service for an aging parent?

Yes, you can. Aging parents can sometimes have a difficult time performing home maintenance tasks due to age, illness and even physical strength issues. We are sensitive to this and would be happy to take on home maintenance tasks. top

Can I use TaskEasy as a property manager?

You bet! One of the great features of TaskEasy is that you don't need to live at the address where our contractors perform services. When a rental or bank-owned property is across town or in a different state it's hard to find reputable contractors to perform yard care. TaskEasy makes it easy to manage, even long distance. top

Can I order services for multiple properties?

Absolutely! You can order services for as many properties as you want, anywhere in the country. Our website allows you to manage all your properties in one spot via your TaskEasy account. top

Is there a fee for your service?

Nope. TaskEasy is free to use. There are no membership fees to set up or use an account. When you order a task, the price you see is what you pay for. There are no hidden fees. top

What is your guarantee?

If you aren't satisfied with the quality of work your contractor performs, we'll give the contractor the chance to make it right. If you still aren't satisfied, we'll ask a different contractor to do the job, and if that hasn't made you happy we'll refund your money. top

Do you provide before and after photos of the job performed?

Yes. Your contractor will let you know when the task is finished by sending you an email with before and after photos of the work they completed. Once you accept the work, the contractor is then paid. top

How do I onboard my properties?

Adding your properties is easy. After you create an account on the TaskEasy website, click on the "add properties” tab, and type in each address. You can add new properties at any time. Once an address is added, you can order individual tasks for each property. You can also send us your list and we'll take care of it for you. What is the sign-up process?

Click on the sign-up link and answer a few questions about your business and the services you perform. One of our Customer Service reps will call you to talk through some common questions about licensing and insurance, and then you'll be ready to go. When we have customers in your area, we'll contact you and confirm a place on your schedule for them. top

Are you a lead service?

No. We don't promise you leads in exchange for a monthly fee. Customers you get from TaskEasy are real customers who have already paid for the services, based on industry-standard pricing. top

How much does TaskEasy cost?

TaskEasy helps you manage bidding, marketing, sales, scheduling, communications, auditing, billing, and collections without any upfront cost. TaskEasy takes a percentage of the total cost for each Task you perform. You only pay for TaskEasy when you make money, and before you accept a Task you know exactly how much you'll make. top

How do I get paid?

When you set up electronic payments with TaskEasy, Task payments will be deposited to your bank account 3-5 days after work is performed. If you prefer, a paper check will be mailed to 10-14 business days after work is performed. top

How will I know about more jobs?

Please ensure your phone number and email address are correct. When we have new customers in your area, we'll contact you and confirm a place on your schedule for them. top
