TaskEasy Leverages Contractor Network to Provide COVID-19 Sanitizing

TaskEasy technology platform and nationwide contractor network now deployed in the fight against COVID-19

Salt Lake City, UT - April 13, 2020 - TaskEasy, the nation’s leader in automated lawn care and yard services, is deploying its independent contractor network of more than 15,000 business entities, representing 75,0000 American workers in 12,000 cities in the fight against COVID-19. With its online solution for ordering, dispatching, and monitoring the performance of a wide range of services – now including COVID-19 cleaning and sanitizing, the company enables a broad distribution of work to individual contractors without any in-person contact. Contractors use TaskEasy’s mobile app to learn about the specifics of services requirements and supply proof of completion with before and after photos captured in the app.

“We were inspired by reports of car manufacturers mobilizing to produce ventilator machines for hospitals, distilleries producing hand sanitizer, and fashion houses producing masks,” said Ken Davis, TaskEasy founder & CEO. “We thought about ways we could use our technology and nationwide contractor network to support the fight against COVID-19 too. Our employees and contractors are anxious to help, and we realized we could quickly deploy tens of thousands of workers across the US to help clean and sanitize surfaces in public places.” TaskEasy is already performing COVID-19 sanitizing work at vacant homes for property managers in multiple states.

TaskEasy currently provides lawn mowing and related yard-care services, snow removal, and vacancy cleaning services in all 50 states with a contractor network representing tens of thousands of workers. From individual homeowner customers to institutional property portfolio owners with thousands of properties, TaskEasy customers can price, order, and manage yard care and cleaning services without in-person contractors through TaskEasy’s website.

“We have already set up the framework for deploying and managing COVID-19 sanitation services on a national scale. And our contractors are calling us every day asking for additional work to see how they can help,” says Davis. Through its network of independent contractors, TaskEasy is able to provide sanitation and cleaning of vacant residences and public spaces to help prevent the spread of viruses and bacteria and alleviate the economic consequences of the nationwide business restrictions.
